The role?
As a Senior Product Manager for our Payment vertical, you will manage and organize the execution of the development and enhancement of critical payment products including payment gateway integration, checkout experience, payment acceptance performance. You will collaborate closely with our development team and our third party providers to ensure our products not only meet but exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements. You'll be responsible for:
- Designing and managing the roadmap for payment products, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance standards;
- Leading cross-functional teams to drive product development from conception through launch, iterating based on feedback and data insights;
- Implementing best practices in payment & checkout experience, leveraging the latest technology to safeguard our transactions and payment operations;
- Developing and refining metrics to measure the effectiveness of payment products and payment acceptance performance, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction;
- Executing on the product roadmap by running the product development lifecycle through SCRUM method that runs on a weekly/bi-weekly basis;
- Performing integration discovery by engaging with payment gateway/provider service partners and drive effective integration implementation;
- Validating new ideas for existing or new product features;
- Study partners’ API documentation and perform tests (e.g. with Postman) to streamline developer integration efforts;
- Managing the product backlog that has been prioritized by the business stakeholders and work with the development team to execute and deliver the product backlog;
- Collaborating with the BI team to leverage data and product analytics for continuous improvement;
What are we looking for?
- Computer science degree or similar;
- Fluency in English is a must;
- 3-4 years experience as a Product Manager, with a strong background in financial & payment technologies;
- Worked as a software developer, systems engineer role or similar;
- Understanding of payment gateway integrations capabilities;
- Owned a solution end to end and drove commercial success;
- Deep understanding of payment systems, regulatory environments;
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable strategies;
- Self starter individual with high level of ownership and self leadership;
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem solving skills, with the capability to drive projects involving multiple stakeholders;
- Previous experience working with API integrations;
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the passion to make an impact in a fast-growing start-up;
- Basic understanding on programming language;
- Experience on working with relational or non-relational databases (sql, postgresql, etc..);
- High degree of adaptability to be able to work with people from different nationalities;
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit - you want to build something big and have a measurable impact for your efforts;
- You are self-motivated and have a result-oriented mindset, you hustle to get things done and proactively find ways to reach and over achieve your targets;
