Qlub enables customers to instantly pay their restaurant bills by scanning a QR code via their phone, without requiring an app or any registration. This speeds up table turnover, increases tips for waiters, and enhances customer loyalty and experience. Additionally, customers can split the bill with friends and pay with Apple Pay, Credit Card, or in instalments.

Team & Role Overview

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be instrumental in generating new business sales opportunities for Qlub. Operating within the Australian market, SDRs will meticulously research restaurants, hotels, and other hospitality operators. Their primary responsibility involves devising outreach strategies to demonstrate how these operators can leverage the Qlub platform to their advantage. By identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospects aligned with our target customer profile, SDRs play a pivotal role in advancing the sales process. Successful SDRs exhibit traits of curiosity, autonomy, and a relentless pursuit of goals with resilience. They excel in forging positive connections with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

The Qlub Sales team is dedicated to revolutionizing the hospitality industry globally. Our mission entails empowering restaurant operators with smarter payments that enhance guest relationships and streamline operational efficiency through our bespoke payment system. SDRs can anticipate robust support and opportunities for growth from their manager and peers, charting a promising career trajectory into various sectors of the business, including Restaurant operations and Sales (Account Executive/Business development). SDRs will be reporting directly to our State Sales Manager, committed to fostering team productivity, culture and professional growth.

 


Responsibilities

 

·Prospecting: Identify and reach out to potential clients via email outreach and cold calling

·Engagement: Persuasively convey the benefits of Qlub to prospects, showcasing its potential as a valuable asset for their business

·Pipeline Management: Maintain a meticulously organized pipeline using Hubspot CRM

·Assist the sales team in pinpointing relevant decision-makers

·Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with prospects across Australia

 

Qualifications

·Minimum 1 year of prior work experience, with a fervent interest in the hospitality industry (Hospitality experience is a bonus)

·Preferred experience in cold calling, sales training, and familiarity with Hubspot.

·Exceptional attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

·Comfortable working independently in a quota-driven sales environment.

·Strong written and verbal communication skills.
