At Qlub, we are a pioneering FinTech company dedicated to transforming payment experiences in dining by enabling swift and secure transactions via QR codes. As we expand globally, we're seeking a Technical Product Manager with a focus on finance and fraud to lead initiatives that enhance financial processes and fraud prevention at our company.


About the Role: As the Technical Product Manager for our Finance & Fraud vertical, you will manage and organize the execution of the development and enhancement of critical financial products including reconciliation platforms, automated payout systems, and fraud prevention mechanisms. You will collaborate closely with our finance team to ensure our products not only meet but exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements.


Your day to day will look a little like this:

  • Design and manage the roadmap for financial and fraud-related products, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive product development from conception through launch, iterating based on feedback and data insights.
  • Implement best practices in fraud detection and risk management, leveraging the latest technology to safeguard our transactions and financial operations.
  • Develop and refine metrics to measure the effectiveness of financial products and fraud prevention strategies, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
  • Execute on the product roadmap by running the product development lifecycle through SCRUM method that runs on a weekly/bi-weekly basis.
  • Perform integration discovery by engaging with financial service partners and drive effective integration implementation.
  • Validate new ideas for existing or new product features.
  • Study partners’ API documentation and perform tests (e.g. with Postman) to streamline developer integration efforts.
  • Manage the product backlog that has been prioritized by the business stakeholders and work with the development team to execute and deliver the product backlog.
  • Collaborate with the BI team to leverage data and product analytics for continuous improvement.


Requirements

What you’ll need to succeed in this role:

  • Computer science degree or similar
  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager, with a strong background in financial technologies and fraud prevention
  • Deep understanding of payment systems, regulatory environments, and financial reconciliation processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem solving skills, with the capability to drive projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Previous experience working with API integrations
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the passion to make an impact in a fast-growing start-up
  • Basic understanding on programming language
  • Experience on working with relational or non-relational databases (sql, postgresql, etc..)
  • High degree of adaptability to be able to work with people from different nationalities


It’s great if you have:

  • Previous experience in a technical product management role
  • Worked as a software developer, systems engineer role or similar
  • Understanding of payment gateway integrations capabilities or financial systems
  • Owned a solution end to end and drove commercial success
