Responsibilities:
1. Design and deliver scalable big data systems supporting both streaming and batch modes.
2. Implement and maintain the data-lake ecosystem to unify all diverse data sources.
3. Build reliable data pipelines and ETLs to deliver data from diverse data sources.
4. Work closely with stakeholders, including engineering, product, and analytics teams, to fulfill their requirements.
5. Explore and assess novel technologies to address issues in the big data stack..
Requirements:
1. BS/MS or more in computer engineering/science or related experience.
2. 2+ years of industry experience in software development using Python, Java/Scala and SQL.
3. Understanding of distributed systems related to data processing and storage.
4. Knowledge of Cloud Technologies like GCP/S3, Glue, BigQuery, Athena.
5. Experience using data ETLs including Airflow or Nifi.
6. Familiar to Docker deployment, Kubernetes and CI/CD automation based on Gitflow.
7. Strong entrepreneurial spirit - you want to build something big and have a measurable impact for your efforts.
8. You are self-motivated and have a result-oriented mindset, you hustle to get things done and proactively find ways to reach and over achieve your targets.
